Brady Cook is not pressing the panic button.

No, it’s a long season, and despite Mizzou’s lopsided 40-12 loss to Kansas State, he’s looking towards the future instead of backwards to the past. Cook met with media Wednesday ahead of Mizzou’s game against Abilene Christian.

Cook said the team shouldn’t overreact to the loss and that a lot of other teams are going through what the Tigers are.

He was humble in his struggles Saturday, too. Cook completed 15 of his 27 passes for 128 yards and 2 interceptions against the Wildcats.
