Brady Hoke hilariously refuses to talk about Tennessee’s injuries
By Cody McClure
Published:
Brady Hoke met with the Knoxville media on Wednesday ahead of Tennessee’s home game against No. 20 LSU on Saturday.
That game is set for a 7 p.m. ET kickoff on ESPN.
Hoke will be the Volunteers’ interim head coach for at least the next two weeks, as UT announced it had fired Butch Jones this past Sunday.
Hoke commented on the Vols’ quarterbacks, and changing the practice schedule up, among other things — but definitely not injuries.
The guy seems to be adamant about not letting any injury news out of the bag:
Hoke says he’ll update us on injuries later this week. Of course, today is the last time Hoke speaks to the media before kickoff.

Reporter: We won’t see you again until Saturday.
Hoke: Aw, shucks.

Hoke also announced a big personal change:
Hoke: I’m going to wear a headset.
Hoke famously never wore a headset when he was the head coach at Michigan.
