Former Ohio State quarterback/receiver Braxton Miller is in Mobile, Ala., for the Senior Bowl, so it’s only fitting that he got asked about the rumors that he’d transfer to Alabama prior to the 2015 season.

In a story by Michael Casagrande of AL.com, Miller had an answer for why all the rumors were running rampant that he might leave Columbus for Tuscaloosa. Miller spent his time rehabbing from shoulder surgery in Birmingham, and there were likely a few people that spotted him there and got the wrong idea.

During the Senior Bowl media day, Miller said he never had contact with head coach Nick Saban or any other member of the Crimson Tide coaching staff.

However, he did hear plenty from Tide fans, and he appreciated the love.

“Yeah man, but it got me a lot of Alabama fans, though,” Miller said. “They’re very friendly. I appreciate all the Alabama fans who accepted me. But there was a lot of things going on outside of that.”
