Former Auburn player hired to serve as the program’s new Director of High School Relations

A familiar face has returned to The Plains as Auburn has hired Brendt Bedsole as the program’s new Director of High School Relations.

Bedsole has already been added to the team’s official coaching roster on the team website. News of Bedsole’s hire at Auburn was first reported by Nathan King of 247Sports.

Bedsole is a former walk-on at Auburn during the 1985 and ’86 seasons and later worked as a student assistant, an administrative graduate assistant and a graduate assistant within the program. Bedsole earned his undergraduate degree and master’s degree at Auburn.

Prior to his return to Auburn, Bedsole served as the Director of Operations at South Alabama, a role he served in for six seasons with the Jaguars. Bedsole also has experience in the high school ranks in the state as he previously served as an assistant coach at Trinity High and Hoover High.

In addition to his high school coaching experience, Bedsole has also spent time coaching at Murray State and Samford.
