During his introductory spring press conference Monday, Arkansas head coach Bret Bielema revealed two players were no longer members of the program as receiver D’Vone McClure and tight end Anthony Antwine will not be competing in the Razorbacks’ upcoming camp.

According to Bielema, McClure, a walk-on receiver and former professional baseball player, has apparently become burnt out on competing athletically, while Antwine is leaving for other reasons but will remain in school in Fayetteville.

Antwine also entered the Razorback program as a walk-on player but was given a scholarship by Bielema just before the beginning of the 2016 season. Both players played sparingly, mostly on special teams, during their time in Fayetteville. McClure appeared in five games last season and had one tackle, Antwine made six appearances but failed to register any stats in 2016.
