Brett Favre has effusive praise for Joe Burrow: ‘The sky’s the limit for this guy’
After Joe Burrow’s season ending injury in 2020 where he tore both his MCL and ACL in his left knee in Week 11, he has bounced back and is having an incredible year in 2021.
Through 7 games, Burrow has 1,956 yards passing with 17 touchdowns and 8 interceptions.
Legendary NFL QB Brett Favre gave his opinion on how Burrow is doing in the his second year in the NFL on SiriusXM NFL Radio, effusively praising the young QB:

“Joe Burrow had a tremendous year a couple years ago at LSU,” said Favre. “Aside from a few injuries he’s had, he’s played pretty much like he did that year. The guy’s a heck of a quarterback. He’s got some weapons, and they’re only going to get better. He’s just a winner. I think that gets overlooked when you talk about the intangibles a guy has.”
Burrow’s return from injury has been fun to watch so far, and it will be an interesting story to watch unfold throughout the rest of the NFL season.
