Brian Kelly announced that a key member of the offense will miss the remainder of the season.
Running back John Emery has a torn ACL and will be out for the rest of the season, Kelly said in his press conference. Henry has recorded 121 yards and a touchdown this season. His injury came during LSU’s bout with Florida on Saturday.
Emery has been with LSU since 2019, recording 1,062 yards and 14 touchdowns on his career. He did not play in the 2021 season.
LSU is looking to keep up its offensive production after the Tigers had a historic performance against Florida on Saturday, recording more than 700 yards of total offense. Quarterback Jayden Daniels was the main catalyst in the performance, recording 372 passing yards, 234 rushing yards and 5 touchdowns.
The Tigers will face off against Georgia Southern this week before closing out the season against Texas A&M, which will be without Jimbo Fisher, who was fired on Sunday.
