LSU pulled off an upset win over one of the most unstable looking Alabama teams that we have seen in recent history, topping the Crimson Tide, 32-31.

After what was a solid performance by the Tigers in many aspects as they continue to rise through the rankings, head coach Brian Kelly fielded questions from the media on a host of topics, including his decision to go for 2 in overtime.

“Look, you’re going to get second-guessed if you don’t get it,” Kelly said. “I get it. But, to me, I just felt like, I look at our team, I assess the situation and I just felt like it was the right thing to do.”

You play to win the game, and what Brian Kelly did was a perfect illustration of that. Clearly it paid dividends as the Tigers came out on the right side of a thriller in Baton Rouge.

The Tigers will go up against the Arkansas Razorbacks on the road Saturday at 11 a.m. CT with a goal of finishing this final stretch of the season strong.
