Brian Kelly shares details about DL coach Jimmy Lindsey’s return to team

Brian Kelly shared the details of defensive line coach Jimmy Lindsey’s return to the team after the defensive line coach had to step away from the team for a period of time due to a health matter.
Kelly said that Lindsey is back with the team, but will be in a limited capacity as he continues to work his way back to full health.
“He has just finished his treatments. He is in a part time capacity really,” Kelly said in his press conference Monday. “We’re so excited about where he is medically, but there are contingencies in terms of what he can do. He’s not out there 15 hours a day doing those things, but we’re gradually, for his own health, we’re bring him back. Much more in an administrative role right now.”
Lindsey has been with LSU since the beginning of this season, joining the team after spending 2 seasons with South Carolina. Before that, Lindsey was a defensive ends coach at Illinois and a handful of other programs.
