Brian Kelly tears into LSU WR Chris Hilton during Florida game

Brian Kelly and the LSU Tigers are in action against Florida as they are looking to bounce back from last week’s blowout loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide.

During the game, wide receiver Chris Hilton mistimed his jump on a pass from Garrett Nussmeier that could have given the Tigers a big play. This was an issue for Hilton in the game against Texas A&M, as he mistimed his jump on multiple passes.

As Hilton left the field, Kelly met him on the sidelines and gave him an earful to say the least.

While it isn’t 100 percent confirmed what he said, it did appear that Kelly was telling Hilton he needs to be more coachable.

This could be a case too where Kelly is trying to send a message to the entire team, as Sage Ryan and Bradyn Swinson were suspended for the first quarter for not living up to standards.

This isn’t the first time that Kelly has blown up on the sidelines this year, and no player is exempt from being screamed at by the coach. Shelton Sampson, Damian Ramos, and Nussmeier have all been on the end of a Kelly sideline conversation this season.
