Kentucky picked up a huge defensive commitment Wednesday afternoon.
Brian Robinson, a 4-star edge out of Ohio, announced his commitment to Kentucky over Michigan, Penn State and others.

According to 247Sports composite, Robinson is the No. 93 player nationally, the No. 4 player in Ohio and the No. 7 edge in the 2024 class. Standing at 6-foot-5, 255 pounds, Robinson will bring some size and athleticism to Kentucky’s defense.
The commitment from Robinson gives Kentucky the No. 22 overall recruiting class for 2024. Robinson is the 6th 4-star player to commit to play for the Wildcats.
Kentucky is hoping the addition of Robinson and some other talented players will be enough to get the team over the hump next season. The Wildcats have produced some solid teams over the past few seasons, but have yet to make the jump to being a College Football Playoff-caliber team.
The Wildcats have a chance to pull of a big upset this weekend as they take on Georgia. They are riding the wave of a big win over Florida last week as they seek out a signature win.
