Before the SEC Championship Game against Georgia two weeks ago, it was thought that Alabama running back Brian Robinson Jr. may not play because of a leg injury.

The running back ended playing a huge part in the Crimson Tide’s victory over the Bulldogs despite the fact that he was still injured.

When asked how his health was on Thursday, Robinson said he’s feeling better after some rest:

“I feel a lot better physically. I have some of the best athletic trainers in the country,” he said.

Robinson only rushed for 55 yards in the SEC title game. However, his blocking abilities allowed quarterback Bryce Young to have a big game.

He is seemingly healthy going into the Crimson Tide’s first game in the College Football Playoff and that is good news for them.
