Bring back Jimbo? Texas A&M surrenders early pick-6 in rough start for Jaylen Henderson

Jaylen Henderson got off to a rough start on Saturday in his 2nd start for Texas A&M. On his first pass of the game, Henderson was intercepted, and the pick returned by Cirby Coheley of Abilene Christian for 51 yards and a touchdown.
Henderson absorbed a blind-side hit, which caused him to cough up the ball as he went to release a pass.
The developments were a difficult start for interim coach Elijah Robinson, who took over after Jimbo Fisher was fired on Sunday.
Henderson last week accounted for 4 touchdowns in his first career start during the Aggies’ 51-10 win over Mississippi State, in which both head coaches were fired within 48 hours of the game’s end. Henderson threw for 150 yards and 2 touchdowns last week, and ran for 60 yards and 2 more scores as he played in place of Max Johnson, who was out with a rib injury.
Last week’s development made the Aggies bowl eligible after they failed to qualify in last year’s 5-7 season.
