Brock Vandagriff, Hardley Gilmore connect for unorthodox 52-yard TD

Brock Vandagriff just threw the worst 52-yard touchdown pass you’ll ever see. Luckily, Hardley Gilmore made an excellent play to secure the first 6 points of the day for Kentucky against Murray State.
The below touchdown is the first score of Gilmore’s college career and just his 3rd reception of the season. Following an interception on the other end by Jordan Lovett, Vandagriff found Gilmore streaking towards the end zone.
He initially underthrew the football by about 10 yards, but it went right through the hands of a Racer defender and directly into the hands of Gilmore.
7-0, Wildcats.

Kentucky is looking for its first win since early October on Saturday against the Racers. The Wildcats have fallen to Vanderbilt, Florida, Auburn and Tennessee since a promising start to the season, including a 20-17 win over Ole Miss.
And unfortunately for the Wildcats, Vandagriff has struggled to start this one – despite the touchdown on his stat sheet. He threw a nearly identical ball soon after his touchdown, except this time the Murray State receiver made the catch.
