Bruce Pearl had gotten Auburn to the Final Four for the first time in school history. Then, it looked like the Tigers were heading for a berth in the national title game when a questionable foul call doomed them and sent Virginia on to the championship instead.
Auburn is a No. 2 seed in this year’s tournament. As the Tigers prepare for a game against No. 15 seed Jacksonville State, Pearl was asked about that Final Four loss.
As you can see below, he had a great answer to a question about whether he still thinks about that loss or not:
Auburn HC Bruce Pearl asked if he still thinks about the loss to Virginia in the Final Four: "It doesn't flash in my mind, just every morning when I wake up. And then a couple times throughout the day, then before I go to bed. Other than that, I'm over it."

Can Auburn get to another Final Four this year? The team won the SEC’s regular-season title, so the talent is there.
The Tigers tip off against Jacksonville State at 12:40 p.m. ET on Friday on truTV.
