Bruce Pearl offers latest timeline for Allen Flanigan’s return from Achilles injury

Bruce Pearl and the Auburn Tigers are cruising along this year, currently sporting an 11-1 overall record.
More impressively, they’re having so much success without Allen Flanigan, one of the star players on last year’s squad.
But, there could be some good news coming on that front. Per Pearl, Flanigan could possibly make his return to the court against Murray State on Wednesday night:
Auburn's Allen Flanigan (achilles) is "close" to returning to action, per Bruce Pearl. Averaged 14.3 PPG and 5.5 RPG last season.

Flanigan averaged 14.3 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game last season, starting all 27 games in which he appeared.
How he’ll work into the rotation for the Tigers upon his return remains to be seen, but it’s never a bad thing to have a player of Flanigan’s caliber back in the mix.
