Earlier this year, Auburn C Austin Wiley missed time with a leg injury. He then returned to the court in a limited capacity, but eventually was held out again.

Heading into this week’s SEC Tournament, his status is still up in the air and on Tuesday, coach Bruce Pearl spoke about Wiley’s injury.

Per Pearl, Wiley is back at practice, but is considered day-to-day as the Tigers prepare for their first game in Nashville on Thursday:

If Wiley can play meaningful minutes for the Tigers in Nashville, it’ll be a big boost, especially for their defense.

However, even without Wiley, Auburn enters the conference tourney on a hot streak, having taken down Tennessee in the regular-season finale on Saturday.
