Auburn picked up its biggest win of the season Saturday night, taking down LSU on the road, 24-19.

It was the first win for the No. 18 Tigers in Baton Rouge since 1999, setting up a huge home game on Saturday against No. 2 Georgia.

Auburn was able to get the win in Death Valley despite playing without one of its best players, All-SEC linebacker Owen Pappoe.

During his weekly press conference Monday, Auburn coach Bryan Harsin provided an update on Pappoe’s status.

“Owen didn’t play,” said Harsin, who has admitted that he prefers not to discuss injuries. “I hope he does this week. It comes down to game time.”

Harsin was also asked about the status of running back Tank Bigsby, who saw a limited number of snaps Saturday night.

When asked if Bigsby was dealing with an injury, Harsin said, “Tank is fine.”

Auburn’s game with Georgia on Saturday is set for 3:30 p.m. EST and will be televised by CBS
