Bryan Harsin has released a statement following his firing from Auburn Monday evening. The Tigers coach was 9-12 in 1 and a half seasons with the program.

Harsin led the Tigers to a 3-5 start to the season after an offseason of drama, to say the least. Players have been transferring from the sinking program sporadically since.
All in all, this is a strong and classy statement from a coach who never really would have worked out for the Tigers. Both entities will walk away better from this, with Harsin keeping $15 million in buyout money.
