Bryce Underwood showed off some of his immense talent in his high school game on Friday night.

The LSU commit scored on a remarkable 20-yard touchdown run in a playoff game against Detroit Catholic Central. After stepping up in the pocket and escaping to his right, Underwood stiff-armed a defender and rounded another before diving into the end zone to make it a 2-score game.

Here’s a replay of Underwood’s big play, which came late in the 3rd quarter:

Unfortunately for Underwood, his Belleville High School team ultimately lost 35-21.

Plays like that are why Underwood is considered the No. 1 overall player in the country for the class of 2025, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s been committed to LSU since January despite reported overtures from closer-to-home programs like Michigan.

If Underwood signs with LSU, he’ll headline what is shaping up to be an elite recruiting class for Brian Kelly and his staff. The Tigers currently have the No. 5-ranked class in the country for the 2025 cycle, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
