Bryce Young is enjoying all the spoils of being a Heisman Trophy winner. And he’s getting a little pocket change, too.

On3 Sports released their top 10 list of highest NIL valuations in college football and Young topped the list at $3.1 million.

Ohio State quarterback CJ Stroud ($2.4 million), USC quarterback Caleb Williams ($2.4 million), South Carolina quarterback Spencer Rattler ($2 million) and Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers ($1.5 million) round out the top 5.

It’s an intriguing list, especially considering Rattler spent much of the 2021 season on the bench at Oklahoma and Ewers hasn’t thrown a pass in college football yet. Not surprisingly the top five are all quarterbacks.

Ohio State wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba ($1.4 million) is the highest non-quarterback on the list and Alabama edge rusher/outside linebacker/all-around freak athlete Will Anderson ($1.3 million) is the only defensive player on the list.

Georgia tight end Brock Bowers ($899K) is ninth on the list.

Young won the 2021 Heisman after throwing for 4,872 yards and 47 touchdowns. He led the Crimson Tide to an SEC championship and a spot in the CFP national title game where they lost to Georgia, 33-18.

The NIL has given college football a chance to make some income based off their name, image and likeness. This major chance in the college football structure has been the cause of much controversy and debate. But one thing can’t be denied — the top players in the nation are getting a chance to cash out early. Spend it wisely gentlemen.
