Bryce Young for Heisman? Fans weigh in on Alabama QB’s impressive first half

Bryce Young entered Saturday’s SEC Championship Game as the Heisman Trophy frontrunner, despite some recent struggles by the Alabama offense.

However, in the first half in Atlanta against Georgia’s elite defense, Young looked every bit the part of a Heisman-winning quarterback, connecting on 2 touchdown passes.

The first was a 67-yard strike to speedy Jameson Williams. The second was even more impressive, as Young directed John Metchie to some open space in the end zone to give the Tide the lead:

He also added a rushing touchdown at the end of the first half:

There’s still an entire second half to go. We’ll see if Young can continue putting up numbers against Georgia’s stingy defense.
