Bryce Young takes major heat on social media after multiple pick-6s vs. Colts

Bryce Young is having a day to forget for the Carolina Panthers, and it comes at arguably the worst possible time for the young quarterback.
Fellow rookie QB C.J. Stroud had a day he will never forget on Sunday, as he threw for 470 yards and 5 touchdowns in a Houston Texans win. Stroud was the No. 2 pick in the 2023 NFL draft, just behind Young.
While Stroud had a day he will never forget, Young is having a day in Carolina that he will want to forget immediately.
The Panthers are trailing the Indianapolis Colts, and it is Young who has thrown multiple pick-6s to Colts cornerback Kenny Moore. Here are some reactions on social media to Young’s play, ranging from support to fans being upset.

Drafting Bryce Young straight up wouldn’t of been bad. But Carolina giving up multiple 1sts and a pro bowl WR to go and get him is the bad look in all of this. They are bad enough to draft Caleb/Maye but don’t own their pick.

Obviously, one day isn’t a reason to decide on someone being a bust or the right pick, but the comparison between the first two picks in the 2023 draft right now isn’t good if you’re a Panthers fan.
The Texans moved to 4-4 on the season, and Stroud has thrown for 2,270 yards, 14 touchdowns and 1 interception. Young, on the other hand, will see his team fall to 1-7 barring an improbable late comeback. He already has 6 interceptions and has thrown 8 touchdowns.
Young had put together 3 solid games in his last 3 outings, but Sunday was definitely a step in the wrong direction.
