Former Alabama DE Brandon Deaderick spent three years with the New England Patriots after he was selected in the seventh round of the 2010 NFL Draft.
In recent years, though, he’s bounced around, playing for the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2013 and the New Orleans Saints in 2014. He was cut by the Houston Texans before the season started in 2015.
Now, he has another chance to catch on with an NFL team.
On Monday, the Buffalo Bills cut WR Leonard Hankerson and DT T.J. Barnes, adding Deaderick and DL Alameda Ta’amu to their roster.
Deaderick won a BCS National Championship with Alabama in 2010 and has recorded 5.5 sacks and forced three fumbles in his NFL career.
