WATCH: Mississippi State celebrates season’s arrival with intense hype video

After the dreadfully long offseason, it’s finally game week in Starkville.
Mississippi State is scheduled to open the season against Louisiana in New Orleans on Saturday with an 11 a.m. CT kick off to officially begin the team’s 2019 campaign.
The Bulldogs are currently listed as a 20.5-point favorite in the game that could very well set the tone for the season as Mississippi State projects to be a favorite in its three nonconference games before getting Kentucky at home, which could very well be another game in which the Bulldogs are favored to win.
But before we get ahead of ourselves, Hail State has to take care of business on Saturday against Louisiana on a neutral field.
