With Kirby Smart’s duties at Alabama set to end following Monday night’s national title game, expect things to ramp up very quickly at Georgia.

Just hours before that game takes place, Georgia beat writer Marc Weiszer has reported that there are several new support staff members ready to be put into place.

Among those are the following:

  • Quality control assistants: Will Windham, Blaine Miller and Patrick Doherty
  • Director of player development: Jonas Jennings
  • Additional football operations staff hire: Jay Chapman

Jennings is a former Bulldogs offensive lineman, and Chapman moves up the ranks from Samford.

There is still no official word on a defensive coordinator hire for the Bulldogs, which could come quickly following Monday’s championship game.
