Bumper Pool is officially Arkansas’ all-time leader in tackles.

Pool notched the 408th tackle of his Razorback career in Saturday’s game at No. 23 Mississippi State.

Pool is using the NCAA’s COVID-19 waiver to play a fifth season for Arkansas. Saturday’s game is No. 50 for Pool in a Razorback uniform.

Pool is coming off of his most productive season with the Hogs. In 2021, Pool notched career-highs in total tackles (125) and tackles for loss (7.5). He also hit triple-digit tackles (101) in just 9 games in the shortened 2020 season.

Through 5 games of his super senior season, Pool had logged 46 tackles, including 3.5 TFL, entering Saturday’s SEC West showdown. With 5 full seasons, Pool may put the career tackle mark out of reach for years to come.

Unfortunately for Pool and the Razorbacks, Mississippi State currently leads 27-10 in the 3rd quarter. The game is airing on the SEC Network.
