Tennessee coach Butch Jones isn’t taking a day off from recruiting on Christmas Day. The second-year coach contacted 2016 pro-style quarterback Jarrett Guarantano, according to the prospect’s Twitter.

Guarantano ranks as the No. 111 overall player and No. 6 pro-style quarterback for the 2016 class, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. The 6-foot-4, 200-pound junior has offers from Alabama and Ole Miss, as well as several other national powerhouses.
The Vols currently have seven known commits for 2016 and rank No. 4 overall, according to 247Sports. Tennessee already has a commitment from four-star pro-style quarterback Austin Kendall, who committed in August.
