What a way for a player to spend his team’s bye week.
On Sunday, Alabama tight end Miller Forristall shared on Twitter that he got engaged to his girlfriend, Abby Lutzenkirchen, this weekend. Forristall posted a short video that took place shortly after his proposal:
Future Mrs. @abbylutzenkir, how’d that go for ya? #clapitupbreakitdown pic.twitter.com/m0do4BGfPK

Lutzenkirchen is the sister of the late Philip Lutzenkirchen, a former Auburn tight end who died in a car crash in 2014.
Forristall has been a solid contributor during his senior season for the Crimson Tide. During Alabama’s 6-0 start, he has 10 receptions for 141 yards and a touchdown, which he scored in its win over Ole Miss on Oct. 10.
But there’s a strong chance that the Tide’s bye week will be the most memorable moment from Forristall’s final year at Alabama.
Newly engaged, Forristall will return to action for the Crimson Tide when they go on the road to face LSU on Saturday at 6 p.m. ET on CBS.
