BYU’s ‘Cosmo Cougar’ thrills crowd, may be the strongest mascot in the nation

BYU found itself tied with Utah State at 17 at halftime on Thursday, but the Cougars eventually took care of business in a 38-26 win to improve to 4-1.
While the players were performing on the field, the best showing of the night may have been from BYU’s mascot, Cosmo Cougar. This is truly impressive:

Sure, that takes strength and skill, but it also takes a great deal of intestinal fortitude. One wrong move and things could end very, very badly for the person inside the suit.
The Cougar mascot garnered plenty of reaction on social media, as you can see below—including from former BYU punter Jonny Linehan:

We’ll see what Cosmo has in store for the next Cougars home game: Oct. 15 vs. Arkansas. Although this is going to be quite hard to top.
