C.J. Conrad becomes first Kentucky player to catch three TD passes since 2007

Kentucky tight end C.J. Conrad is having a historic performance against New Mexico State.
The sophomore became the first Wildcat to catch three touchdown passes in a single game since Dicky Lyons Jr. in 2007.

Conrad first found the end zone on a 72-yard pass from Stephen Johnson in the first quarter. The two hooked up again on a 9-yard pass in the second quarter and on a 17-yarder in the third.
As of midway through the third quarter, the sophomore caught five passes for 133 yards and three touchdowns. Kentucky leads New Mexico State 49-35.
