Caden Durham was injured during LSU‘s win over Southeastern Louisiana in Week 4.

According to ESPN’s Pete Thamel, it doesn’t appear to be massively serious. Durham will “practice lightly” in the lead up to the Tigers’ Weke 5 game against Ole Miss. Per Thamel, Durham had an MRI on Sunday which found that the injury was not a high ankle sprain.

Durham totaled just 17 yards on 7 carries before being forced to leave in the second quarter after injuring his ankle. The Tigers, though, went on to win 56-10.

For the season, Durham has registered 213 yards on 52 carries. His best game of the young season came against Florida in Week 3 as he took 15 carries for 93 yards. He has a pair of touchdowns, one each against Clemson and Louisiana Tech.

We’ll wait and see what the prognosis is for Durham as the Tigers look to improve to 5-0 with a Week 5 victory against the Rebels. They’re already in the midst of their first 4-0 start of the Brian Kelly era and off to their best start since 2019.

Kickoff between LSU and Ole Miss from Vaught-Hemingway Stadium is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.
