The Auburn Tigers are in the midst of a lost season with an overall record of 4-6 and a conference record of 2-5. But despite being in a state of transition after the program parted ways with former head coach Bryan Harsin, the Tigers have shown a lot of passion and a lot of fight in their recent game play.
The Tigers most recently forced Mississippi State into overtime in a 39-33 loss, followed by a 13-10 win over Texas A&M.
Interim head coach Carnell “Cadillac” Williams recently shared on “Out of Pocket” on the SEC Network his coaching messages to Auburn players as the team prepares to close out the season. One of those primary messages was for the players to “serve each other.”
“I truly believe that the greater you serve, the greater your blessings are. You’re going to reap the benefit of serving each other.” Williams also spoke to consistency and “being a dreamer” as the players need to maintain confidence and belief in themselves despite some of the circumstances and outside noise.
Auburn is set to round out the season with matchups against Western Kentucky and Alabama over the next 2 weeks.
