Alabama WR Calvin Ridley continued his climb through the Alabama record books Saturday.

Ridley entered the game with an already remarkable career to his credit and continued his strong play against Mercer. Ridley wasted no time in putting up a good game and eclipsed the 100-yard mark thanks to a 66-yard touchdown in the second quarter.

Not only has Ridley eclipsed the 100-yard mark for the game, but he has now passed WR Julio Jones for third place on the Tide’s all-time list in receiving yards.

Ben Jones shared the accomplishment on Twitter:

D.J. Hall’s second place mark of  2,923 is definitely a possibility for Ridley this season, but he will have to continue his strong play in order to reach it. Amari Cooper’s school record of 3,463 yards should be safe this season.
