Jimbo Fisher revealed some unfortunate news on Thursday as one of his receivers has been lost for the season.

According to the Texas A&M coach, senior receiver Cam Buckley has been lost for the season due to an ACL injury. Buckley has already had surgery after recently suffering the injury.

“Cam did suffer a season-ending injury. He had an ACL injury, had surgery yesterday. Everything was clean in the surgery. He will miss the year,” Fisher noted when speaking of Buckley.

“He was a very good player and leader on our football team,” Fisher added.

The senior has a total of 62 receptions, 877 receiving yards and four touchdowns during his time in College Station.

Spanning the previous two seasons, Buckley has appeared in all 26 games for the Aggies.
