Cam Newton had an up-and-down night in Thursday’s season opener. He set a new record for rushing touchdowns, but he was also battered by the Denver Broncos defense in a 21-20 loss.
The Carolina Panthers quarterback caught Twitter’s attention when the cameras picked up on him flossing on the sidelines.

After the game, he was asked about flossing. And, well, his answer checks out.
“I was eating oranges at halftime,” Newton told reporters.
