Cam Newton advances to NFC championship game after big first half with Panthers

Cam Newton finally got the Seattle monkey off his back.
The Carolina Panthers have struggled with the Seahawks in recent history, but the former Auburn QB led the Panthers to a 31-0 first-half lead on the way to a 31-24 win over Seattle.
Newton completed 16-of-22 passes for 161 yards and a touchdown.
The touchdown pass was to TE Greg Olsen, and it was a beauty:

Newton and the Panthers will face Arizona next week. The winner goes to the Super Bowl.
