Cam Newton finally got the Seattle monkey off his back.

The Carolina Panthers have struggled with the Seahawks in recent history, but the former Auburn QB led the Panthers to a 31-0 first-half lead on the way to a 31-24 win over Seattle.

Newton completed 16-of-22 passes for 161 yards and a touchdown.

The touchdown pass was to TE Greg Olsen, and it was a beauty:

Newton and the Panthers will face Arizona next week. The winner goes to the Super Bowl.
