Cam Newton’s latest production hit television screens Tuesday.

“Football Town: Valdosta, GA,” a series with Newton as the executive producer, follows the 2016 season of the Valdosta High School Football team. It premiered on NFL Network on Tuesday. The next five episodes of the series will air each Tuesday at 10 p.m. ET on NFL Network.

Last year, Newton started his own production company, which he named Iconic Saga Productions. It came in conjunction with the company Magical Elves, which produces multiple cable programs, including “Top Chef” and “Best Bars in America.”

It’s the second time in as many years a show with Newton as the executive producer hit cable TV. Last year, he hosted 20 episodes of “All In with Cam Newton” on Nickelodeon. The show has the same premise each episode, as Newton meets two kids who have already made up their minds on their future careers. Newton then introduces them to experts in their chosen field who will serve as mentors going forward.

Newton had a magical season at Auburn in 2010, winning the Heisman Trophy and leading the Tigers to an undefeated season and their first national title since 1957.

He has continued to excel since arriving in the NFL as the No. 1 pick in the 2011 draft.

In 2015, he won the NFL MVP award on his way to leading Carolina to a 17-2 overall record and an NFC Championship and a berth in Super Bowl 50.
