Cam’Ron Kelly’s stay at Auburn didn’t last very long and now he’s officially moved on from the Tigers.
If you missed the news, the Chesapeake, Va. native announced last week that he was leaving Gus Malzahn’s program after enrolling at Auburn in early January. Kelly was a four-star prospect in the 2019 recruiting cycle, the nation’s No. 10 athlete and a top-five prospect from the state of Virginia, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
Kelly cited a desire to play closer to home when he left Auburn, noting that members of his family are having health issues.
Now Kelly has decided where he will continue his career as the freshman announced his commitment to North Carolina with a post on Twitter on Thursday.
