Bynes, who was second-team All-SEC and Auburn’s leading tackler in 2010, went undrafted in 2011 and signed with the Baltimore Ravens. In six seasons in the NFL, he’s bounced around between practice squads, active roster status and injured reserve. The Detroit Lions signed Byrnes away from the Ravens’ practice squad in 2014. After playing in 13 games in the 2014 seasons, Bynes signed a two-year contract with the Lions in 2015. He played in 16 games in 2015, but only nine games last season.
In six seasons, Bynes has a combined 221 tackles.
