Carson Beck may need a Snickers. And he definitely wants to get away — as in out of Tuscaloosa — as soon as possible.

Georgia’s star quarterback was hailed by many as a Heisman Trophy contender entering the season, but that kind of hype feels like ancient history right now. In fact, Beck and the Bulldogs are watching the true Heisman leader ascend in front of their very eyes as Alabama’s Jalen Milroe lights up the Georgia defense time and time again.

Meanwhile, Beck is having one of the worst performances of his career in Athens. That is not hyperbole.

Through 30 minutes against Alabama, Beck is just 8-for-17 for 98 yards and 2 interceptions. Those numbers are bad, but they could be even worse.

At one point, a Crimson Tide player dropped another potential interception that would have resulted in an easy pick-6. Beck also committed a safety after he was flagged for intentional grounding in the end zone.

Georgia does have one touchdown at halftime, and that’s about the only silver lining of the performance. Alabama leads 30-7 at the break.

Beck’s performance is lighting up social media, but in all the worst ways possible. Here’s a look at how fans and media alike are roasting the performance of Georgia’s offensive leader in what was supposed to be a major opportunity vs. Alabama:
