Carson Beck uncorks perfect TD throw to extend Georgia’s lead over Mississippi State
Carson Beck delivered an inch-perfect pass to give Georgia a 10-point lead over Mississippi State midway through the second quarter.
After a somewhat-slow start to the game, UGA appears to be pulling away from Jeff Lebby’s Bulldogs. That’s in-part thanks to a 31-yard touchdown pass from Beck to Dillon Bell in the back of the end zone.
Beck was rolling to his right when he fired a missile to the end zone. Beck was able to snag the ball while making sure he remained in bounds as well give UGA a 20-10 lead. Here’s a replay:

That’s the 13th touchdown pass of the year so far for Beck. He went on to throw another touchdown before the end of the first half to make it 27-10 in UGA’s favor. He’s more than halfway to his career-high of 24 touchdowns in a season, which he set in 2023.
Georgia is looking for its second consecutive SEC win. The Bulldogs beat Auburn last weekend to move to 4-1 on the season. Georgia has won 4 consecutive games in this series and is 20-6 all-time against Mississippi State.
