Cayden Wallace obliterates Arkansas baseball’s first grand slam of 2022

Arkansas baseball is in action Saturday against the University of Illinois at Chicago, and the Razorbacks are currently rolling with an impressive power display.
Chris Lanzilli opened the scoring for Arkansas in the bottom of the 3rd inning. He launched a 3-run home run to put the Razorbacks in control early.

The big blow in the game came a bit later. During the bottom of the 6th inning, Cayden Wallace got a hold of one and absolutely destroyed a grand slam to left-center field.
Wallace’s big fly came off the bat with 104 mph exit velocity and went down as a 401 ft. blast. It is the first grand slam of the season for a Razorback and Wallace’s second home run of the season.

Lefty Hagan Smith was also impressive for Arkansas on the mound. He went 5 solid innings with 1 hit allowed and 8 strikeouts for the Razorbacks.

Arkansas has since made it 9-1 with the game now in the 7th inning.
