CBS will be broadcasting games from both the Big Ten and the SEC in 2023. This season will mark the final year of the SEC’s run on CBS before it moves to ESPN in 2024. This year’s SEC slate also includes multiple double-header dates on CBS.
For the first 2 weeks of the 2023 season, CBS will have a Big Ten contest in its traditional 3:30 p.m. time slot. For Week 1, that game will be Ohio State-Indiana. In Week 2, the network will feature UNLV-Michigan in that slot.
However, beginning in Week 3, the SEC will have a game each week on CBS at 3:30 p.m. ET. The network will also air select Big Ten contests throughout the season, but in different time slots.
CBS is beginning its deal with the Big Ten during the 2023 campaign. CBS, NBC and FOX are all part of the Big Ten’s new media rights agreement that will start this fall.
