CBS Sports analysts always predict the outcome of each college football game every week. With Week 11 upon us, the analysts gathered again to predict the weekend’s slate.

The Georgia-Ole Miss game was included in the Week 11 predictions. The No. 3 Bulldogs are traveling to take on the No. 16 Rebels in a matchup that could have College Football Playoff implications.

Rick Neuheisel, Randy Cross, Aaron Taylor, and Brian Jones all agree on how this game will go. All 4 analysts see the Bulldogs escaping Oxford with a win.

“I’m gonna go with Georgia, that dang defense,” said Jones. “You can’t block all of them.”

The Bulldogs have the No. 12 total defense in the country. The unit is allowing just 17.3 points per game through Week 10.

Cross agreed with Jones’ sentiment, saying Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart “isn’t going to put up video game numbers” against this Georgia defense. Taylor also praised the Bulldogs for their ability to close out big games.

“Georgia elevates during the big games,” Taylor explained. “They find ways to rise up.”

Finally, Neuheisel also picked the Bulldogs to win and used the Texas game as a reference.

“The frenetic defense that you saw in Austin is on my mind,” said Neuheisel. “They have a chance to take this up another notch.”

The Bulldogs are 7-1 overall and 5-1 in SEC play entering the matchup. The Rebels, meanwhile, are 7-2 overall and 3-2 in conference matchups.

This rivalry game will kick off from Vaught-Hemingway on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET.
