CBS ranked all 130 college football teams after the first two weeks of action.
That includes, of course, all of the SEC’s teams. Five of those teams appear in the Top 25, and all but four of the conference’s schools rank in the Top 50 in the nation.
One SEC team ranks as the No. 1 overall team. You probably won’t be surprised by which one it is, but what could be surprising is which team is ranked No. 21 overall: South Carolina. Yes, the Gamecocks have turned heads this season, and they’re right in the thick of an SEC East race.
The full 130-team ranking can be found here.
But in case you’d rather just see where the SEC teams stand, here you go:
1. Alabama
10. Georgia
11. LSU
14. Auburn
21. South Carolina
26. Tennessee
30. Mississippi State
31. Florida
47. Arkansas
