Preseason bowl projections are a fool’s errand, as no one know what a team will look like when it plays its first game of the season.

Injuries, ineffectiveness and a slew of other problems can arise in Week 1, and that’s exactly what happened this week across the nation.

Even post-Week 1 bowl projections are sure to change, but CBS Sports has updated their projections according to the action they saw this week.

The biggest change is that Alabama is now facing Clemson in the College Football Playoff semifinal instead of Florida State.

Check out where your favorite team is projected to play this postseason below:

  • Alabama: Sugar Bowl vs. Clemson
  • Arkansas: Liberty Bowl vs. West Virginia
  • Auburn: Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl vs. Florida State
  • Florida: Peach Bowl vs. South Florida
  • Georgia: Outback Bowl vs. Nebraska
  • Kentucky: Music City Bowl vs. Northwestern
  • LSU: Cotton Bowl vs. Oklahoma State
  • Mississippi State: Belk Bowl vs. Georgia Tech
  • South Carolina: Texas Bowl vs. TCU
  • Tennessee: TaxSlayer Bowl vs. Virginia Tech
  • Texas A&M: Birmingham Bowl vs. Memphis

Again, a lot can change in the next week, and there are sure to be some modifications even after this coming weekend’s slate of games.
