CBS Sports’ updated 2022 NFL Mock Draft has 10 SEC players in Round 1

The 2022 NFL Draft will begin on Thursday, April 28, in Las Vegas. And, when commissioner Roger Goodell takes the podium for Round 1, it’s a safe bet he’ll be calling the names of a lot of former SEC standouts.
On Sunday, CBS Sports analyst Jared Dubin released his updated Round 1 mock draft, and he has 10 SEC stars going in the first 32 picks.
As you can see below, he has Georgia leading the way with 4 first-round picks, followed by Alabama with 2:
- No. 5 — Evan Neal, OL, Alabama — New York Giants
- No. 6 — Charles Cross, OL, Mississippi State — Carolina Panthers
- No. 7 — Travon Walker, DL, Georgia — New York Giants
- No. 12 — Derek Stingley Jr., CB, LSU — Minnesota Vikings
- No. 13 — Jordan Davis, DL, Georgia — Houston Texans
- No. 16 — Jameson Williams, WR, Alabama — New York Jets
- No. 19 — Devonte Wyatt, DL, Georgia — New York Jets
- No. 22 — George Pickens, WR, Georgia — Green Bay Packers
- No. 29 — Treylon Burks, WR, Arkansas — Kansas City Chiefs
- No. 32 — Kenyon Green, OL, Texas A&M — Tennessee Titans
