It’s worth noting that in recent years Alabama has taken its bye week prior to the LSU game. One of the most cited reasons for Tigers coach Les Miles’ firing is his team’s recent struggles to beat the Crimson Tide, having lost the last five meetings between the two SEC West rivals.
