Conference USA has signed a brand new media rights deal with CBS Sports and ESPN that will shift October football games to the middle of the week starting in 2023, much like the MAC has done in November.
The C-USA deal is for 5 years and was first reported by Sports Business Journal.

Conference USA has undergone significant turnover in the last few months. It is adding 5 new members – Liberty, New Mexico State, Kennesaw State, Jacksonville State and Sam Houston State – to go along its original teams that stayed after realignment: Florida International, Louisiana Tech, Middle Tennessee State, UTEP and Western Kentucky.
Now time to think of a catchy name for midweek football in Octobers coming soon!
